Orders paid via internet banking will not be dispatched until cleared funds have been received.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

# Part Identification & Fitment
We make every effort to supply the correct part using the information provided.
To help identify the correct part, customers should provide as much information as possible, including:
* Registration number
* VIN/Chassis number
* Vehicle year
* Model
* Engine size
* Photos where applicable
While we are happy to assist, **the customer is ultimately responsible for ensuring the part ordered is suitable for their vehicle before installation.**

# Shipping
We ship throughout New Zealand using trusted courier and freight companies.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout or quoted before payment.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk passes to the purchaser once goods have been collected by the freight carrier.
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and notify us of any problems within 24 hours.
Freight delays caused by courier companies are outside our control.

# Returns
## Wrongly Supplied Items
If you receive an incorrect part, you must notify A1 Auto Spares immediately upon receiving your order.
If we cannot supply the correct replacement item, the part must be returned within **5 working days**.
Items must:
* Not have been modified
* Not have been damaged
* Be returned in the same condition supplied

## Correctly Supplied Items
Returns of correctly supplied, non-faulty items are accepted **only at management's discretion.**
Where approved:
* A **20% restocking fee** will apply.
* Original freight charges are **non-refundable**.
* Return freight is the responsibility of the purchaser.
The following items are **NOT returnable unless proven faulty:**
* Electrical components
* ECUs
* Engine computers
* Body control modules
* Sensors
* Airbag components
* Electronic accessories

# Warranty
Unless otherwise stated, all parts carry a **3-month parts-only warranty.**
The warranty covers the replacement or repair of the supplied part only.
The warranty **does not cover:**
* Labour
* Installation costs
* Diagnostic charges
* Vehicle hire
* Towing
* Freight
* Loss of income
* Consequential loss
* Damage caused by incorrect installation
* Misuse or abuse
* Overheating
* Lack of servicing
* Racing or competition use
* Water damage
* Accident damage

# Engine, Transmission & Differential Warranty
All engines, transmissions and differentials require a completed Warranty Registration Form.
The warranty form **must be completed and returned within 7 days of receiving your order.**
If you have not received the form or have misplaced it, please contact A1 Auto Spares immediately.
Failure to return the completed warranty form within the required timeframe **may void your warranty.**
Warranty claims may require:
* Proof of purchase
* Installation invoice
* Service records
* Photos
* Diagnostic reports

# Engine Warranty Conditions
To maintain warranty coverage:
The installer must:
* Replace engine oil and filter before first start-up.
* Check or replace the timing belt/chain where recommended.
* Replace thermostat where required.
* Flush the cooling system.
* Ensure radiator is clean and functioning correctly.
* Replace worn hoses or belts where necessary.
* Prime the oil system before starting.
* Use the manufacturer's recommended fluids.
Failure to follow correct installation procedures may void the warranty.
Overheating will void all engine warranty claims.

# Used Parts
Unless specifically advertised as new, all parts sold by A1 Auto Spares are second-hand automotive parts.
Minor scratches, marks, fading and normal wear are expected.
Photographs form part of the description where provided.

# Core Exchange
Some products are sold on an exchange basis.
Where a core exchange applies:
* Your old unit must be returned within the agreed timeframe.
* The core must be complete.
* The housing must not be cracked or broken.
* Major internal damage may result in part or all of the core deposit being retained.
Core deposits (where applicable) will be refunded after inspection.

# Ownership of Goods
All goods remain the property of A1 Auto Spares until payment has been received in full.

# Consumer Guarantees Act
Where goods are purchased for personal use, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply.
Where goods are purchased for business purposes, both parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to the extent permitted by New Zealand law.

# Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A1 Auto Spares shall not be liable for:
* Loss of profits
* Loss of business
* Vehicle downtime
* Consequential or indirect losses
* Labour or fitting costs
Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the part supplied.

Customer information is collected solely for processing orders, deliveries, warranties and customer service.
We will never sell your personal information.
